Cheapest place to buy an Ipod?

I bought my Ipod duty free at Gatwick

4 gb = £90 at amazon

8gb = £119 at amazon

4gb would be fine for my 9 year old?

thinking of getting one for running - a shuffle? or a nano?

shuffles are only £30 beetroot and fab for running.

can you listen to stories on a shuffle?

The thing about Shuffles - as I found out on here the other day - is that you can't choose playlists on them. So, if you have a specific 'running' playlist, you'd have to ensure that it's the only thing on the Shuffle before you go running. I'm looking at second-hand Nanos on eBay - they seem to go for about £35.

it wouldn't shuffle the story beetroot as it would be one item.

I'd get a normal MP3 player, ipod's are just a brand, and you have to use itunes which is awful.

we have accessories in he house that are ipod related.

Argos have some reduced about £32 for a Shuffle iirc

The thing is, I've got loads of iTunes stuff that I've already bought, and they can't be played on other MP3s, can they?

they can if you burn them onto a cd first i think then recopy them from cd to mp3.

Thanks furball, that's a good idea. Might well save me £££ on over-priced Apple equipment.
