does anyone have one of these - lady in the shop was trying to tell me its the best double for my pending nb and tall dd2 who will be 2yrs when baby born

then again, she does stock them in the shop

she's given me a tonne of reasons not to buy a P&T/firstwheels/mountain buggy/icandy pear/jane twin etc and recommends only the out and about nipper

aarrgghhhhhh am about demented with all this

I liked the double nipper so much, I got the single one afterwards.

They go from anything between £50 for a well used older one with fixed wheels, to about £200 for a newer swivel wheel one on eBay.

Don't rule out the older fixed wheel one, if you're on a budget - they are still extremely nifty and manouvreable (sp?), you just need to get used to tilting the front wheel up when you turn a corner. My friends run a childminding business and have 3 double nippers, that's how I know so much about the second hand market of them!

I read about the newborn insert and one reviewer said it was no use for long babies

any ideas what classes as a long baby? dd2 was 59cm long when she was born so not sure what to expect this time

Hello that link for powertwin is the older model, which would need the adaptors and would fit your car seat. Mine is the new one here. It does say it takes rebel pro seat but if you phone them up they will prob know if it takes non-pro as well.

Otherwise I think your best bet is getting an older one on ebay like your link and then you are guaranteed compatability.
