Autumn and Winter Coats 10-13 yr old girls

I was hoping you all could help. We’ve moved to England from California. The weather has been a bit of a shock, and I have been woefully unprepared for all the different types of weather. Warm rain, cold rain, muddy stomps at the park, chilly days to absolute freezing. I’m not sure how many coats to actually have on hand for all the different weather types and having lived in California, we rarely needed one.

Currently I feel like we have all the wrong types except for the standard navy school rain fleece. My 12 (soon to be 13) yr old has autism and is a string bean so keeping her warm is a big deal. my 10 yr old is happy with anything.

please can you help make me a list of the type of coats we should have for an English autumn and winter? Also any accessories or must have shoes. We have wellies but the girls feet are freezing.

My 13 year old girl refuses to wear a coat. Her sister has the black puffer one from Uniqlo which is light and warm and very good. Plus a scarf and hat and that's enough for cold days. The Uniqlo heat tech vests are also great for skinny teens who don't want to look like they have too many layers.

My 13 year old has a black north face puffa jacket, seems to be the teen girl uniform around here!
