Got dd measure today and still size 9.5f but will prob be bit bigger by summer and she's love some sandals like she's always had BUT this year she has orthopedic insoles to correct fallen arches before it gets too seriuos as she gets older. So we need sandals that have closed in toe and heel to rpevent the insole slipping out the front or back. startrite do one pair with closed toe but open back, clarks do none that go big enough (she does have quite big feet, she's 3.5 and size 9.5)

am trawling ebay but who else can i try? looked at ecco but none! what other makes are there!

I have ortho insoles for that reason and although they are no good for school in the summer I have resorted to wearing birkenstocks as they have moulded soles. Not as good for you as wearing ortho ones but a decent compromise. Elefanten may do something, certainly do in the smaller sizes, not closed toe but 3 adjustable straps but it should keep the insole in place?
