(Smart) Shoes to wear with orthopedic insoles

Having recently suffered with feet issues that have resulted in hip pain, I now have to wear orthopedic insoles. I am after shoes with removable insoles that can be replaced with my personal orthopedic ones... trainers seem to be fine [a combination of ASICS, Veja and Ecco) but flat shoes and those with a moderate heel suitable for work are proving a challenge. Any advice really welcome!!

Hi, I’m exactly after the same! I used to wear Vejas but was told to stay away from them by my physio and invest in supportive shoes. I don’t want sports shoes (eg Hokas) but casual trainers. From the research I’ve done there’s vionic, fitflop, strive footwear or calla shoes. I haven’t quite found what I like yet. @QuiteAJourney Have you found anything?

Interesting on Vejas as I can relate to living in them but increasingly realising that they are no good. So far Vionic and Fitflop seem good. I have also got some Gabor and some Tamaris with removable insoles so I can fit my orthopedic insoles. Just plain pumps and court style. Tricky to find and not eased by the fact that sometimes removable are referred as interchangeable and/or insole as footbed... or sometimes the information is not there at all.

After a lot of research, I’m hesitating between these: https://www.fitflop.com/uk/en/shop/f-mode-flow-fabric-suede-leather-flatform-trainers-p-IK8#B72 and these: https://www.vionicshoes.co.uk/women/active-sneakers/mylie-trainer.html?color=923

not sure what to go for! I think I prefer the style of the Vionic that are at a great price today but the Fit Flop look like they have better grip at the bottom?

In the end I ordered the Vionic!
