Do Amazon Prime deliveries actually arrive in 1 day, or have I wasted my money?

well, my company's money.

Signed up for Prime 2 weeks ago, but the order which was supposed to arrive on that Saturday didn't get here until the Monday.

I placed an order last night, which I'm expecting tomorrow. Will it come tomorrow?

You know the standard one is free? Ordered Lego on Thursday, delivered today. That's not bad.

Its been working for us OK - but note that it has to be in stock for the next day delivery.

We have been on Prime since before Christmas and everything has come next day when in stock, it has been fab - even if what you're ordering only costs a couple of quid, there it is next day (and I heart the Post Office, I hope amazon keep them in business )

(Saturdays are different though, because they all pack up by lunchtime, don't they? I've placed orders as late as 3.30pm and they have arrived by 10am next day, on a weekday.)

avenanap, Standard is free, and I used to use it lots, but it became incredibly variable, taking 6 days for them even to despatch last time I used it (and the item was in stock when I placed the order).

I generally need stuff pretty fast because most of what I order is work related, and either I need it for a client, or need it to learn something very soon.

And the bit I hate about internet shopping is that you don't get that instant gratification of retail therapy.
