Has anyone used Taylor and Sons clothing website. I keep getting links for clothing on my Instagram. I like some of the dresses but I'm reluctant to order as I think they are outside UK (prob China). My gut reaction is they are a scam do looking to see if anyone has experience?

Totally agree, they also have multiple other companies on Facebook all with London in their name and a page which gives the impression they are UK based without explicitly saying so.

The scam itself isn't really that clever. Customers pay 100% of listed price for a product which likely costs 10% or less to produce. I'm guessing most will be shocked by the quality but only some will challenge the company and then they see the return policy and opt for the 30% refund. This company's margins are huge, dissatisfied customers have little to no recourse and these scammers know that. What's clever is they've convinced shoppers they are London based. It's China. Live and learn I guess

Update .I had a email from Taylor& Scam ..they noticed I initiated a chargeback from my bank they wanted my feedback and reason and wanted address my concerns and find a satisfactory resolution..I spat my tea out with utter dismay!. As I stated above I gave them several reasons I stated them not to contact me again. !

I had another email regards to my chargeback they want me to close the chargeback to issue a refund .. they can do one ...the item is back at their warehouse.I ask for the matter to be closed .I don't trust them.
They are persistent!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY…. they are a total fraud.

I think they get additional costs with a chargeback which they obviously won't want!

Do not use this company - their clothing is very poor quality. They hide behind a uk address - You have to return to China at huge cost. Total con merchants

Another one who has fallen victim to Taylor & Sons. Dress is awful, fit is dreadful as is the fabric. I have tried to return and have had a hard no with threats of exorbitant shipping fees (paid by me!) and an offer of keeping the dress with a 15% refund which I have managed to get up to a 30% refund. Emails from the company have a slightly threatening tone and no replies to my comments re quality of the dress etc.

Do not use!!! Lesson learned and I'm thinking of going to Trading Standards but doubt I will get anywhere

I reported to Facebook and the reply was they are not doing anything against Facebook rules!
if i want I can’t report to trading standards.

@Lynnielondon60 that's the dress I ordered!! I was expecting a soft cotton dress not the nasty shiny polyester one that turned up!!

lol reminded me of little Bo Peep dress for an old fashioned amateur dramatic show!!! 😂

Found the real page selling the dress I ordered and it’s in Mallorca!! (Might need to take a holiday a go there 😂)

Update again I refused delivery 2 weeks ago now today I refused the order again! I'm not giving in on my chargeback they did ask again. I did not reply to the email, they stated If I reversed the chargeback they give me a full refund 😆

As long as it's not shipping from China 😂

@Lynnielondon60 that's definitely the right dress, I have contacted them as I am seriously considering ordering it!

Helps that I speak Spanish. I have asked them if they are aware that a Chinese company are selling fakes too!

Do not order from Taylor and son. The quality is very poor and returns are to China, which you have to pay for. Avoid at all costs.

Please DO NOT use this company,
I ordered in July and have still not received the order although they are saying it has been delivered?
I have now taken this up with my bank.
they should NOT be allowed to trade in the UK, taking peoples hard earned money.
