I hold a senior position currently in the advertising world, which I've been a part of for 10 years. I am doing a final stage interview for a Director role at a fintech company (all previous interviews for this role have been virtual). I'm so lost with what to wear?
If I was going for the same position in my current industry I would likely wear a midi/midaxi dress with trainers (everyone does, don't come for me!) or closed toe sandals, or jeans with a crisp t-shirt and blazer (but with the sleeves rolled up 😅) - maybe with heels or smart closed toe sandals.
I just don't really know how corporate the company is despite trying to do as much LinkedIn stalking as I can, and I've read that it really depends on the company - I don't want to go overly smart, and I don't own a power suit anyway, because I'll look ridiculous if they're all in jeans, and going too casual they may not take me seriously or think I'm right for the company?! Help please!
