Shouldn't a child's SINGLE BED duvet cover set come with a normal size pillowcase not a cot size one??

nope i would think it should come with a proper sized pillow case,the ones we have do anyway!

It wasn't from Ikea - it is from a small company online.

Could it be a continental one? They tend to come with square rather than rectangular pillow cases

Surely there's been a mistake at the company end...check with them.

It's a British brand and also it fits ds's old cot pillow perfectly so is definitely cot pillow size. Very odd as the duvet isn't.
