Cameras - Canon Powershot A570 vs A580 vs A590 ... HELP!

I've been Googling and reading reviews for long enough to make me feel that my eyes are about to drop out my head.

I want a good, dependable camera, essentially for taking the best photos of my children in any situation we may find ourselves in, as they grow up. I don't want the most basic camera but I'd like one that allows me to take good photos, without getting lost in miles and miles of menus, before I've completely read/retained the manual ... if you know what I mean. A camera I can grow with as I get more time to take in the extra bits and pieces, without being too mind boggling.

I've narrowed it down to the Canon Powershots: A570, A580 and A590.

Does anyone have one/any of these and, if so, would you recommend yours?

Not much help but i've got the Powershot A410 as wanted pretty basic model. Have found it pretty easy to use - had to refer to manual a couple of times but thats easy enough to follow. I would recommend the Powershot range.

Not trying to complicate matters for you but A460 on Amazon for £49.99. Looks like a good deal

After nearly going cross-eyed looking up cameras and reviews on the computer (and possibly p*ssing off my local Jessops with visits but no purchases), I've settled on the Canon Powershot A720 IS ... which is towards the upper end of the small camera price range but seems to be highly rated/worth it. Fingers crossed that it is. Amazon should be delivering it in a couple of days ... I can't wait!!
