Looking at this for my DD (8) birthday. She has asked for a recorder the last 2 christmases. First we got her the instrument. She was gutted. Next year we got her a DVD player. She was chuffed to bits but it still wasn't what she meant. When she described a camcorder we choked! However DH found this. It looks very basic but then what does an 8yrold need. Has anyone got one? Does it work? Is it easy to use? Would I be better paying a little bit more for the real thing or should I hang onto my money and get this? Thanks
