Noticed a creepy sign stuck inside my New Look fitting room cubicle saying ‘please note - this fitting room area is being monitored’ and then mentioning how products were protected by ‘concealed’ anti thievery devices.
Does anyone who works in retail, New Look in particular, or just knows have any idea what this all means? Are they using cctv to watch us and if so, does the ‘fitting room area’ mean the general bit with the sofas and racks outside or the actual cubicles? Or does monitored mean something else?
Would be shocked if there’s cctv in the cubicles but it sounds like it doesn’t it! I’m suspicious, because they don’t bother with ticketing you or counting your items most of the time :0
