Hi all, hoping you can help.
My daughter has her school leaving do in a few weeks and we've completely fresh-aired the dress. She is after something that is NOT the normal prom type dress (she wore a structured patterned dress to hers a couple of years ago). The absolute ideal shop would be:
- large enough to have lots of choice
- full of vintage and or designer dresses/outfits but that are
- not too expensive (i.e. couple of hundred at absolute max)
- not many hours away
- NOT online
- NOT completely alternative. She does like to be a bit different if possible, but is still fairly mainstream IYSWIM.
I'm therefore after any suggestions for any shops/towns etc that might fit at least some of that bill as I suspect it's a tall order.
We don't mind travelling to east midlands/east anglia down to London but no further, as we don't have the time to be able to do that. We absolutely must find something to wear, but if you have a wonderful, local shop like that, let me know and I'll check it out. Many thanks in advance.
