Cake tins

I have two round 7 inch tins and a 23cm springform cake tin and a large loaf tin.
They are never the right shape or size.
What size and make of cake tins do you have / recommend? Are the silicon ones worth the money?
TIA

I have to liven things up somehow, all our cakes have to be home made as DC are dairy free, and the good old sandwich and 9" square were used to the point of borningness as we have 3 DC. add christmas cakes and I had to have some interesting tins.
Be good or i will give you more links

Lakeland has very cool novelty tins, but they are not cheap.

Ebay's got quite a few that are more reasonable.

I bought a 'Twinkie' tin a few years ago and have used it loads.

I also have the 'bug' tin now sold in Lakeland, a springform pan, and a tube cake pan that I got on sale in Lakeland a couple of years ago that see a lot of use.

How about some round sandwich tins for a Victoria sponge?

or a pie tin/dish, especially with more fruit coming into season soon?

I use the round 7 inch tins for the Victoria sandwich I do, so that is covered, but I am liking the idea of a pie type dish... I will check out ebay for novelty tins too and get my Mum to buy me the Cake release from her local Lakeland. The square tin is a def need, but not silicone from this feedback.
