Hi just wondering are there any avid plane spotters out there who could recommend a handheld air and radio for my plane mad 11 year old. Someone recommended a Uniden Bearcat EZ133XLT but it's £120 and I want to make sure it is worth the money before we splash out. I haven't a clue about things like this. In order to hear the pilots do we need to be right next to the airport to pick it up🤔. Perhaps there is something cheaper out there?!
