Space wagon? Volvo V70 (7 seater) or multipla?

Our car has packed up- well its going to, the head gasket is going and Dh drives 60 miles a day minimum, (but hey it only cost us £800 a year ago!), so.....

we don't have a massive budget but can afford older (slightly newer on the space wagon) models of the cars listed above. Don't aprticularly want a glaxy / espace type as we have an Espace and its been great for what we paid, but we live in a terrace place with no off road parking on a one way system and well- parking has been a nightmare!

We will have 4 kids soon, 8, 7, 4.5 and a newbie. Access to rear seats importanta s DS3 needs a specialist harness which can be a pain to secure.

Any advice please?

we had a spacewagon it was lovely, thou ours was a P reg so dunno what the new ones are like.

Thanks OJ, what car have given the space wagon decent ratings too so we're going to look at a couple this weekend (I hope- waiting to hear abck from sellers!)

This Espace is the second car that the garage (different ones obviosuly!) have damaged so we are a bit miffed to say the least!
