How the heck do you get baby Annabel to cry real tears?

The DDs got these for Christmas (version 4, I think they are?) and have fed them a lot (though I'm not sure how much water is actually going in) but no tears yet ...

We've found if you switch her off at the back then switch her back on and shove the bottle in as far as it will go straight away, then squeeze the bottle as she sucks then take it out she cries-phew!!!!

Then after all that you may be luckky enough to get a burp and water everywhere like we did. All dd wants is to hear the burp now!!!!

I've been trying for hours to get our baby annabel to cry and pee but nothing?...
No on/off switch tried giving her water I'very gave up atm and can't find answer on Google either 😁
