Thinking of changing wireless router to an Apple one

but where to start - looked at apple store but have no idea what to buy?

does anyone know anything about apples and are they worth it or should i just buy a decent bog standard one. Will it actually make any difference to the way my computer works?

had a v bad experience with Netgear, and am currently using my db's Belkin, which is Ok but rather slow

I've heard good things about the Apple Airport extreme, but it's pricey (£119). Good thing about Apple is their customer service, particularly if you have an Apple store near by- you can go in and talk to a real live human being without paying!
