Still having food delivered + non-existant customer care @ Sainsburys

Post lockdown I'm still having food delivered (no holiday childcare and trying to do part-time study). I recently noticed not only was Sainsbury's ridiculously expensive but their customer care is ATROCIOUS, no pathway on their website and when you find a contact and do call, there is no resolution, no interest, even rudeness. Starkly different from Asda (although they are really Walmart USA) who have perfect customer care... I'm just eating the melted ice cream now!

What do you do when things arrive and they are horrible or the ice cream has melted etc?
I'm loathe to go to the shops with kids as its' so involved and takes up so much time. What have been your experiences post-lockdown with getting food in? I don't have energy after mothering to deal with this stuff which seems to be te level of exhaustion that corporations like Sainsbury's rely on for us to do nothing.
