Title says it all. I'm only 10 weeks pg but trying to think ahead. I will have a 2 year old and a newborn and although I would love the p+t, I really cant afford it. Dont really want to buy something and regret it, so what do you recommend.

Bearing in mind that:

a)I live on a steep hill
b)I occasionally use the bus. (but do have a sling if needed)

Thanx

I'm in a similar position and i'm thinking about the out and about nipper. You can get them 2nd hand for about £100 and they get fantastic reviews.

BroccoliSpears · 03/01/2008 20:49

Ooh, link to the nipper please.

TicTacsMum · 03/01/2008 20:49

Will be watching with interest too as i'm in exactly the same position.

meinhiding · 03/01/2008 20:50

sorry Brocolli, don't do links but it's a great buggy and very very light

I'm due end of July, beginning of august. Not sure for definate as I haven't had my dating scan. I suppose i'm a bit quick off the mark trying to sort buggies out. But I like to be super organised when having kids.

personally id be keeping my eyes peeled on ebay / local papers / shop windows for a second hand Phil & Teds

I use one and cant recomment it highly enough. If you get one you wont regret it!

The on i use at work has been sued almost daily for the past 3 years (now being used as a single).... it has loads of life left in it left... at least enough for another baby.... yes its NOT immaculate anymore (after being used so much and flying on an areoplane 3 times) but it will function perfectly well for atleast another child im sure

Its no for sale btw, but just as an exmaple

nannyL · 03/01/2008 22:17
