In car DVD players..........

Hi. I have just brought our kids DVD players for the car. They are Philips ones I got from tesco.

To fit them you have to attach a plastic bracket to the headrest (screw it together.) We will have to leave these plastic bits in the car all the time and im worried someone will break in seeing them. Obviously I will take the players out or hide them in the boot but will it still encourage someone to break in.

The other option was using a portable colouring travel bag which attaches to the headrest and putting her player in there and using a little bag that clips onto the headrest for the other one and then taking them both down when not in use and putting them in the colouring bag.

Would like to know what other people do with theirs, thanks.

i have a set but mine you put a strap around the head rest which is attached to the screens. I wouldnt leave anything visible in the car showing you have one myself as i dont trust people these days!

Mine too has velcro and we will only be putting it in the car for longer journeys.

Ours is a portable one that has a travel bag.

You can velcro it to the headrest in front, but we just let DD1 hold it and watch it that way.

Wouldn't want anything fixed to the car to be honest.

omg if I let mine hold them to watch.... they bash each other with anything they can find in the car.
