I have been looking all night for things to put on my childrens coats. The hedgehogs on the advert don't tell you where you can get them from. I have been on the hedgehog website (worth a look they are very sweet). Looked in mothercare etc. Anyone got any ideas, we wlak down a country road at six o clock every night and it concerns me. Thankyou

Just googled as I've been wondering too.
Try your local council and/or local police. There seems to be quite a few websites = I looked for "road safety" + children + glo

What about reflective tape from HALFORDS?

You could attach the tape to a backpack, it wouldn't need to have anything in if they are little children.

DS was given a reflective disc from nationwide via school a couple of years ago.

Mum2girls · 14/11/2004 20:46

DD1 got them from a talk at nursery about road safety.

They are on the hedgehogs website - see
http:/www.thinkroadsafety.gov.ukcatalogue/index.htm

and look at the 'complete category' section on the rhs of the page - I looked at the acrobat file and under the section 'Child Road safety Campaign materials', you can order a set of stickers (Ref TINF670).

In the car we keep a reflective vest and a strap reflective strap thing that goes around waist and over shoulder

I had it years ago from when I was a kid on a bike.

We keep in car incase break down.

WigWamBam · 14/11/2004 20:48

What about something like these ? We got some similar free from our local council offices, and they're really good. Because they snap around, they fit any size.

KangaMummy · 14/11/2004 20:50
