Talk to me about Ipod docks, speakes, i-cy etc

DD1 (7.9) is getting a nano for christmas but she could do with something else not expensive to go with it. Was thinking that she would appreciate some speakers or a dock to make it easy to charge up and listen to music off-headphones in her room.

I looked in curry's and they have several dock systems with speakers, under £30, but then I saw the i-cy penguin. Think she would love this but was disappointed that it only ran off batteries - I just want something to plug in a leave for her to use.

So what would you get - a dock/clock, a speaker set (do they charge too?) or something cuter and more child-like such as the i-dog or penguin?

I can't help with the details, but if you haven't already bought the nano, I noticed Comet were advertising a free dock/speakers with every ipod bought before Wednesday. Might be worth a look.
