I've been given two stair gates but no wall fittings. Is it possible to get hold of them ... anyone done this?

They are both from mothercare The generic white metal type.

I know babydan will send replacements. Dn't know about Mothercare, but I would try phoning them.

find some jar lids that the ends of the gate fit into and screw them to the wall to engage the rubber ends

Most Mothercare ones are made by Babydan and you can get extra bits for those (I lost a screw in rubber ended bit, cost me £1.50 including p and p) I dealt with [email protected]
