Kneeling chair any good or torture? Office chair alternative

Does anyone have one of those kneeling chairs? Are they any good? Since spending hours sat down working from home I have developed what I describe as necrosis of the arse cheeks. It's like the circulation is non existent in the fat at the bottom of my back and feels numb and uncomfortable. Don't want to buy another office chair in case it's just the same. How about one of those balls you sit on, would anyone recommend one of those??

Watching with interest @floppybit as I'm interested in the same. I think the kneeler and ball will help with core strength.

I just need to take the pressure off of my bum. Hopefully someone will reply

What about a standing desk instead? One that you can adjust so you can sit sometimes and stand sometimes.

Before you shell out for an expensive chair you could try one of those donut shaped cushions, of you can get ones with a notch cut out to take pressure off your tailbone. Or maybe a backrest that attaches to your chair?

@IceandIndigo I've tried both of those already, and an egg sitter, plus many others. I just really need all my weight on another part of my body
