I'd just been thinking I wish I could have a brolly for my push, what a great idea for an invention, I could get rich...but someone has already come up with the idea - genius! I just had to share! I'm going to ask for one for Christmas.

I'm way past the pushchair stage now but I HAD THAT IDEA FIRST!!!! That was MY idea . The fact I did nothing about it other than one day think "What I need is an umbrella that attaches to the buggy" is irrelevant - I feel robbed.

Do you think it would attach to my bike - or would people point and laugh as I cycled past? I hate hoods - the loss of peripheral vision on a bike is not good.

I see the patent is only pending - now if I could only prove that I thought of it one wet day in around 2002....

Think it might cause too much wind resistance on a bike - acting like a parachute IYSWIM?
