We are a family of four - 2 adults, 2 children (aged nearly 5 and 3 months old - both in rear facing car seats for now) - and we need a bigger car. We need to be able to fit an adult in the back - either between the two car seats or in a boot seat. My dad died in March and my mum doesn't drive, and we really want to be able to take her out with us on day trips, so we need a car suitable for 3 adults and 2 children. Does anyone have any suggestions? We're looking for a petrol automatic car and would prefer to buy used. Budget is around £15-£20k but some flex for the right car as our intention is to keep the car for a good 10 years.
