Think my DD has persuaded me that she would like and has been good enough for a DS lite, this will be our first venture into any sort of computer games since DH and I have never been interested...

I'm a little bewildered by the range of games and wondered which would suit a girl of her age, which have you bought and which do they enjoy playing?? she mentioned a puppy game but there seem to be a few different ones, anyone had experience of these and know which are best?
Many thanks!

I have a ds, which I bought a few years ago for myself. The last few months dd also 6 1/2 has taken over it. The games she loves are cooking mama, which is simple little cooking game, chopping, peeling frying etc etc sounds boring but is very addictive and easy for younger ones to get the hang of
And nintendogs, which is I suspect the puppy game your dd is thinking of. you can get a few different ones, each one containing different breeds of dogs. You play with, feed and groom the puppies. Aswell as teaching them tricks and training them
