Geomag, magnetix etc. Are they compatible with each other?

That's it! ds likely to get some of this from different people at Christmas, will it matter if it's different brands?

Just googled this and it came up with a MN thread from 2004. The answer is yes but geomag is better!

No, they are not the same size and do not fit well together.

Geomag IS better but you can get great offers on Magnetix. Aldi are doing a 70 pce set for £9.99!

Have seen that milliways, think magnetix is the way to go for us at the moment. Is that right somersetmum? Ooh conflicting info.....

Have looked at another thread on this topic on moneysavingexpert and some say it is compatible despite the slight difference in size, others say it isn't. Think we'll go for magnetix this time and then if he's really into it look at some geomag for his birthday
