Tamagotchi, Pixel Chick or Cyber pet? (Pixel Chicks 2 storey house £14.99 in Woolies)

Woolies have a 10% off weekend which finishes tonight (for online orders). I'm thinking of getting my dd a Tamagotchi for christmas but I'm getting more confused the more I look into this.

For one thing, the Woolies site lists the age group for the Tamagotchi as teen (and legal age limit as 6+) for V4 . I'm wondering whether to get a Pixel Chicks 2 storey house instead as it's been reduced from £35 to £14.99, which seems pretty incredible. Or is this because no-one likes them?!!

My dd is not yet 6, so maybe she's too young for all of this? She can't read properly yet, but does love playing computer games so she's computer savvy (don't get me wrong, she loves books and we do spend lots of time reading, she's not a couch potato).

I saw that Yellow Moon have a cyber pet, which is only about £5, maybe I should get that instead, but need to decide today while Woolies have their 10% offer on!

Any advice from wise mumsnetters?

Thanks RubyRioja - it is the price that's making me consider Pixel Chicks. How old is your dd?

Thanks, will go for it then! Have just put in the order - only after all that I forgot to put in the code to get my 10% off and only realised after I had confirmed the order aaaaaaaaaaaaargh! I'm so stupid

There is a legal age limit for a Tamagotchi V4?? We bought dd one earlier in the year and she's only 4, because ds has them and she kept playing with his and wouldn't give it back. I imagine the age limit is because you can connect them to the internet. A five year old could easily cope with it though and you don't need to be able to read.
