Just that really.

Dodgy lower back and need a medium to firm/firm mattress.

Looking to spend up to £500 and if the supplier/retailer could take the old mattress, that would be good.

I've got a Bensons for Beds near me and a Dreams within bus journey range.

Hit me with your recommendations or brands/suppliers to avoid.

Thanking you in advance.

Run a mile from Beds - if your back will allow.

I’ve had terrible problems with my back and need a very firm mattress. Only 2 in my life have helped.

One was an ikea sofa bed that’s extremely firm- and I would literally wake up with no pain for the first time in years. (We slept on this sofa when waiting for our new b d to arrive)

Second is our current memory foam mattress. It’s a life changer. Took a week or so to get used to. But amazing.
You spend so many hours in one go in bed - it’s important to get this right, otherwise both your sleep and waking life is affected.

We did spend more than £500, but with Corona perhaps there might be special deals on?
