ELC pirates

Does anyone think that the ELC pirates (pack of 5) are a bit scary for a 3 year old? My parcel has just arrived, (not the ship, that is still to come) and I'm a bit alarmed by the pirates. Is it me or could they give him bad dreams?! They're very realistic, waving daggers and things. Perhaps he's a bit young for them. Any thoughts anybody?

ds1 has the playmoblil pirate ship but In all honesty is not an maginative play person so never really plays wiht it

Yes I know Coddy, I keep thinking I'll be able to clear out a load of stuff soon, and they keep playing with it!

They do play far more with Lego and pens, paper, scissors, and glue though.

Phew! Ds1 has now written his own list, and the pirate ship doesn't feature. Instead he wants:

A red-legged tarantula
A yugio card pack
A new BMX bike
£30
A torch (with batteries)
1 Mars Bar
2 bagfuls of sweets
Other surprise things!

Well I suppose I can cope with SOME of the above

£30 is a bizarre thing to put! What does he want to buy with it, do you know?

DS got these last week for his 3rd birthday, he loves them but I agree they give me the fear, especially the one with the curly hair and staring eyes; he's a bit weird looking

No idea!
