While we were at the park today we saw a guy and his son playing with this balloon type thing that you blew up then let go and it swirled round and round making a noise then you could just pick it up and do it again. It was so simple but he had the chidlren queueing up to have a go. His son had got it in a party bag and it didn't have any label or any sort on it so I have no idea what it's called or who makes it but I would love to get hold of some.

Any ideas?

TIA

I can't remember what they're called, but you can get them in the party section in Wilkinsons. They're party favours, so only about £1 for 6 I think.

thanks very much MaureenMLove - just got to find a Wilkinsons now

I got some from tesco's last week in their party section...pack of 4 for around a pound i think.

I expect you can get them from most supermarkets probably. Try Asda or even Woolies, they usually have a good range of kids party stuff. If you can't find them, I'll gladly get them for you. I'm in the CM Staff Room most days!

Think they are called rocket balloons and you can get them from Sainsburys as well. About £1.50 for 8.

not whoopee cushion then

thanks very much for the replies. I'll try Sainsbury's tomorrow as I have to go there anyway. Thanks very much for the offer MaureenMLove but it sounds like I should be able to get them from somewhere myself.

The guy who was playing with them today with his son ended up being like the Pied Piper. My DS went over first and asked if he could have a go (and I heard him say please thank goodness) and by the time we left the park the poor guy had about 8 children around him.

2 for £1.99 or 45 for £3.99

I'm worried I haven't got the right idea so I found a link. If it looked like these, these are the rocket balloons they have in Sainsbury's
