Do you think 40 pounds for a cosytoes, it's too much ???

I used mine for my DD every day all through the winter and thought it was a good investment. I saw others with blankets that their LO's were always kicking off - we were lovely and cosy - and you dont lose shoes or socks as they fall into the bottom of the cosytoes!

You can get other ones rather than the matching make to your pram - Mothercare and Toys R Us do them for £10 to £20 - usually only in black or navy.

Do have a look on Ebay though, as you can pick them up for £30 or £40 for branded ones.

i have gone for a kaiser footmuff. its like a big duvet.

msappropriate · 17/09/2007 20:09

I got one in a sale for about £10 as it was last years colour! It was a proper brand too and no-one ever mentioned that it was "sooo 2002"

I only used it when my son had a jacket or coat on though. Most of the the time he had a snow suit on and with a cosy toes it would have been too much.

I paid £40 for a polar fleece one- it was lush and I got my money worth out of it. It's still like new and will do for #2 as well

I have a fleece buggysnuggle (bought from John Lewis). it cost about £40. It washes brilliantly and dries really quickly and still looks new after numerous washes. I think it was money well spent.

yomellamoHelly · 17/09/2007 20:50

When your lo is crying from the cold £40 doesn't seem much to pay.

Thelittlesoldiersmummy · 17/09/2007 20:58

I think for a decent one £40 is about right I paid £48.99p for my cowprint buggysnuggle one and £75 for my Bugaboo one but you can tell the difference between these and the cheap ones also you will only even need to buy one of them and when you have finished with it sell it on ebay or here for about half the money back
