Which car for me + 2 kids + grandparents?

Hello all, I'm learning to drive and the dream is to be able to drive to the beach with my kids and my parents when my DH is away. I just love minis, fiats and any small car really, but I see that I won't be able to fit the 2 kids in with car seats plus a grandparent in the middle comfortably... Grandparents are both slender 😊 Any ideas on which car would be possible? The smaller the better!

You will struggle with a small 5 seat car to Manage 2 child car seats and a middle adult. Indeed even larger 5 seater cars are a struggle. Unless you'd be willing to put one child car seat in the front if not rear facing.
Then any of the usual suspects could be an option. Cars like corsas could be good and meet your needs. They're cheap to run and repair etc.

Thats a fantastic idea, my other half did exactly this when I was working weekends etc. If you are like me and a car is A to B transport and not a fashion accessory then I would look at a Picasso very roomy not exactly small but a good family car, decent boot, seats unclip for tip runs putting bikes in etc.
I would also look at one of the small Van types Berlingo etc very good on fuel most can do 50MPg if you fit a dog guard in the boot you can pile all your stuff up to the roof.
Parking we had an 8 seater van and fitted reversing cameras about £40 from Ebay so much easier
Once you do get your car get your driving instructor to take you out in it just for a bit of confidence you will soon get the hang of it, we bought our 17 year old to drive in a Land Rover Discovery!
I wouldn't touch a Fiat as they are not the most reliable vehicle in the world.
