UV Bottle Sterilisers for Baby - Vital Baby Nurture Pro UV Steriliser and Dryer

I am looking into steriliser options for my 2nd child due in a few weeks. For my first I used TT electric steamer, but wasn't very impressed, it broke twice and had to replace. I also didn't like the amount of condensation formed. I initially thought about buying a electric steamer with a dryer function this time, but have now come across UV sterilisers, which require no messing around with water. I know they are pricey but they seem much easier and items can be safely stored for upto 72 hours and remain sterile. The John lewis option "Vital Baby Nurture Pro UV Steriliser and Dryer" looks great. There is also a travel one on Amazon (Portable Cartoon Baby Feeding Bottle Boddle Sterilizer Sterilizing Tool). Has anyone used UV sterlisers? There seems to be very limited information on UV sterilisation for baby items and it doesn't appear to be very popular and all the baby info/websites/reviewers seem to overlook this as an option. Can anyone recommend or offer their thoughts on them as an option for baby items?

My opinion is that it’s an unnecessary expense. Sterilising full stop is not needed. The important thing is to wash the bottles really thoroughly.
