I'm off to look at a great big car today

After months of being sure that my smart forfour would be completely fine with a newborn I was cleared to drive after my c-section. Turns out it's a nightmare.
I've found a much bigger car that I can afford. We're going to look at it this afternoon. It's a few years old and it's done a few miles but it's still got a little of its warranty and it looks decent. I've never driven a big car before though so wish me luck!

Ooh what is it?

Good luck. You'll be fine.

It's a Kia Sportage, I've heard good things, also the engine is much bigger so should be fun.

Also I understand that it's not that big but compared to a smart car it's a tank.

Get an Ebay reversing camera, excellent idea

goingtoneedabiggercar · 23/12/2019 12:11

@Funf thank you, I'll have a look, it's much bigger than I'm used to

As someone who drives a very big car, I second a reversing camera. I actually don’t think I could park without it

goingtoneedabiggercar · 30/12/2019 10:41

It has a reversing camera! Looks like the previous owner had it fitted!

Had it an hour, reversed into a lamp post. The lamp post is fine.

I don’t count any bumps and dents on the back of the car, I can’t see them Wink
