Trail gator vs tag along for 7 y.o. confident bike rider.

Hi! I need an advise on tag along vs trailgater ( or similar ) products. Which one of them is more stable without leaning on the side.

This will be used to travel to school in the mornings for 7 y.o,. My son will be collected by his grandma therefore we can not come on his bike.
He is a fairly confident cyclist but we have an issue of what to do with the bike after we cycled in the morning. I know that most of tag alongs and trailgators are used for younger riders (not good cyclists yet) or when kids get tired on longer rides. This is not our issue.

Traigators are around £40 and tag along is £300. I worry about either of them leaning sideways. In the past I had a cheap tag along with my daughter and it was always leaning sideway at a dangerous angle. What will be your advice between the two?
