I'm on 4th buggie in 3 years. I need to hold 3 year old's hand and push 1 year old. I also need to colapse it easily. Any ideas? iwas thinking of the quinny zap but is the non recline really annoying?

One of the midsized Maclarens, Triumph or Quest, is probably your best bet. You can put a buggy board on it too. Boring though.

The Baby Jogger City stroller folds down with one hand and 3 wheelers generally push really easily. I've been lusting after one but just got a new pushchair so can't justify it really.

zapp is also impossible to push with just one hand!

Look for a bar-handled buggy instead of an umbrella folding type of one with two handles- i love the graco citisport, and the combi dash/flash

Graco very easy to push one handed, even the double is a breeze

can i add not anything with inflatable wheels and bar handle... cause the phil and teds, whilst lovely to push 2 handed i find V difficult to steer one handed and it goes wherever it likes to go on the pavement!

My Unban Detour has 3 inflatable wheels and a bar handle, and I can push it one handed with a hefty 4 year old in it!

ive just sold my mamas and papas luna. was a dream to push with one hand.

AnAngelWithin · 21/07/2007 12:48

oh but it had the bar handle. you will probably find that bar handles are the best to push with one hand.

Mountain buggy urban absolute dream (I have 3.7 and 7mo olds). Collapses easily, but pita to lift/put in the car as it's quite heavy and awkward. Or what about a britax vigour3, they seem to fit the bill.

05cra35te 5s easy t6 steer and f63d grat t6 4se 6ne handed and can rec35ne - 5 have a 1y6 and a near3y 3y6

bigmouthstrikesagain · 21/07/2007 20:27

sorry dd interfered with my keyboard! start again

i have 1yo and nearly 3yo the micralite is good for one hand steering and folding and it reclines a bit but it can tip over if too much shopping on it as quite light weight.

I have an urban detour which is good if you don't need to fold it up and i attach buggy board to allow ds a rest when required.

PigeonPie · 21/07/2007 20:48

My Stokke Xplory is really easy to steer one handed and with a DS hanging on to it too!

bozza · 21/07/2007 20:52

I found my 3yo very good at holding the pram.
