I've decided I want a diary. Anyone like to recommend me one please?

My children and I have a lot of appointments. It's getting ridiculous. I have a wall calendar which is fine and I put all the appointments in my phone but I've decided I want a diary now and if I could have one where my fountain pen can slot in as well I'd be very happy. Extra points if it comes from M & S, WHSmiths, Sainsbury's or TKMaxx as they are my nearest shops and I can get it tomorrow impatient

I love my paperblanks diary, though I'm not sure about stockists or whether they do one with a pen slot!

Have a look at Papier too - beautiful quality paper. I think they are online-only but worth the (short) wait: www.papier.com/stationery/planners/2019-diaries?gclid=Cj0KCQjwnpXmBRDUARIsAEo71tTEGo_iFo53a5_n7yRKDYK0HS5azMXlmFAdpvSuILDtcFlcf2djE0EaAu4xEALw_wcB

For pen loops, you can get them from Amazon (Leuchtteurm brand) in loads of colours - they just stick onto the back cover : LEUCHTTURM1917 345161 Pen Loop, self-adhesive, emerald www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00HZDRMXS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_3QGXCb98ZHXYQ

Filofax every time!

SunshineCake · 29/04/2019 06:43

Thank you very much both of you. The pen loops sound just what I need. I had a look in WHSmiths yesterday and had narrowed it down to 2/3 but I'm still looking.

How about one from

www.mumsoffice.co.uk

I've bought from Rymans, not what other shops have them, but you can get them online from the company and Ocado have them

Moleskine week to view with notes space on right hand side of the page. Comes in pocket size. Or a muji A6 weekly diary is similar with better paper.

Best paper for a fountain pen would be a hobonichi A6 which has a monthly / weekly and then page per day all combined in one book. But they are pricy especially if you add a matching cover with pen loop and likely to have to buy online but I do love them!

Wobblington · 29/04/2019 06:54

Sorry hobonichi weeks not A6 would prob be better if you did want to Google them. About £30 if you buy online and cheaper than the A6

Thank you again. I'll have a look tonight when I've got time to look properly on line. Ooo payday tomorrow Grin.

Filofax! Comes with pen loop and can buy in wh Smith. Paper is good enough for fountain pen and you can buy refIls of the diary pages annually.
