EEEEEK!!!!!!! I managed to scratch my car coming out of the vets!!!

I'm sure this isn't the right place to post but not sure where else?!! I've just managed to scratch my car coming out of the vet's car park!! I've not had the car long! Does anyone know how much it costs to have a scratch repair - it isn't deep?!!

then the metal will be damaged, and the anti-rust zinc plating probably scraped off. Get it fixed before it goes rusty. Small marks can be painted by a mobile service such as Chips Away, but I think you need an independent local bodyshop. ask around fr personal recommendations from people you know and trust. Paid-for listings on advertising websites are not personal recommendations, even if the advertisement describes itself as checked or rated.

main dealers charge premium prices and are no better.

Bodyshops are often tucked away in industrial estates.

Verify it has been in business for several years and that the boss speaks English. When he gives you a price, ask "what does that include" because they will add on VAT once you've agreed.
If you have an aluminium car (rare) ask what primer they will use, and write it down (has to be a special one).
