Car to fit 1 child 2 baby seats

Hi - we have one DC at the moment, (in high back booster)but am pregnant with twins (!) so we need to look into getting a new car that's big enough...ideally would fit all 3 across standard rear seats (so not relegating my eldest to the boot!)
We also have a dog, so want to have a big enough boot to fit him and all our stuff ... SO -
Any suggestions?
My SIL has an Alhambra and it feels like a minibus to me - so I'd ideally want a car that doesn't feel quite so bus like, but is that the way we will have to go? Thanks!

How old is DC?
We are having the same issue at the moment but reverse - pregnant with DC3 but have 3year old twins in car seats still. I can just get a maxi cosi pebble and 2 maxi cosi axis's across my back seat (Citroen c3) but it's not ideal.

The Ford s-max is the most recommended in my local twin club for this situation but it is a bit of a bus Grin

BIL and SIL have a Volvo XC90 and 3 kids from 1 year to 8 years. They all sit across the back. Big boot so you'd fit the dog in too.

@TrixieFranklin thanks for your reply!
My DC is 5, so will be in a booster seat for a wee while and has got used to having plenty space, and being just behind us to chat..! I have looked online and there seem to be not many cars that comfortably fit 3 in the 2nd row... I'm only 12w at the mo, but thinking ahead as is obviously an expensive purchase!

Have you seen these? Could make a smaller car viable so you're not driving a bus?

We can get 2 adults and a car seat in a row in our Mazda, never tried 3 cars seats but it's wide (too wide based on the scrapes on both sides!) go to a shop that will let you try them out eg large Halfords
