Berchet Baby Driver III Trike

Hi, We've just bought one of these for our 11mth old daughter, but can't seem to lock the steering? My google-fu has failed me, and I wondered if anyone out there had any ideas?

We have one of these and I remember the steering lock being pretty useless right from the start. It didn't matter much however - trike is still going strong!

The steering lock has given up the ghost on our Berchet trike too (after less than 6 months).... and this is a replacement trike after something else broke on the original one. Ours is the Baby Too Comfort Trike though.

I wish I had spent the money on a different trike altogether now...ho hum
