Hi all! I am new to this, so not sure if this post is in the right area. I’ve previously read from other users that their Tommee Tippee Sterilizer Steamer suffers from corrosion on the hot plate. Well we have the same issue - I have literally followed the Tommee Tippee cleaning advice from their website to the letter, using white vinegar as recommended. Yet still the damn thing has corroded! I’ve had a twitter chat with Tommee Tippee who are taking no responsibility, blaming the type of vinegar I am using?! I think this is really poor, given that this steamer has only lasted since April 2018 under normal usage conditions. Obviously I am going to pursue Tommee Tippee for a replacement, but in the meantime I wanted to highlight that, in my experience, this steamer (whilst great at its job) does not last, and that it might be worth prospective parents looking elsewhere for a better product.
I suspect I am not the only one?
