claims on my insurance that weren't my fault

Just renewing my car insurance. Our nanny crashed our car twice. She no longer works for us and therefore isn't on the car insurance, but I have (apparently)to declare these as they are a claim on my insurance, and there is no way to indicate that it wasn't me (certainly not on comparison sites anyway). Premiums have more than doubled. Is this just the way it is, because it seems ridiculously unfair?

But your insurance has paid out twice so you benefited from the insurance? You have claimed twice?

Unfortunately, yes it is.
