Which anti-perspirant/deodorant do you swear by?

Is there really any on the market that keeps you absolutely dry. What with the weather warming up and doing the school runs in the afternoon, I am yet to find one that lives up to its name. Your secrets to keeping dry please.........

That perspirex stuff - it sounds a bit odd, what's this about sweat being absorbed back into the body? Does it mean you pee more or somethign?

What do you guys shave with? I've discovered (one desperate eve) that cheap conditioner is great for shaving with, seems to soften your skin too so it's not as red and stingy.
