I got some from Asda or Tescos for 55p

But they only come in black, grey or red and I wanted something a bit more colourful

I can't afford much more as I will be buying about 12 of them

They are for diaries for my mindees - so need to be suitable for girls or boys

Where should I be shopping

ps I'd like quite nice paper - the Asda ones were nicer than the tescos

It's hard to get plain ones - I got some in WHSmith, they were soft covers, made of plastic-y stuff, which I prefer for shoving into bags. If you want properly nice paper, you could try somewhere that sells artists sketch pads? Then you can get nicer quality, and some places do a bulk order. I've seen them bofore in woolworths, too.
Perhaps the kids could decorate their own covers? Not the babies though, I guess. unless you do handprints . .

WH Smiths usually do a good selection of brightly coloured notebooks

Katymac · 29/05/2007 14:20

The ones with plastic are much more expensive

I'd rather something in old afshioned hard back (if that makes sense)

Cover the boring ones in sticky back plastic from b and q.

Katymac · 29/05/2007 14:36

Now there's an idea

Now all I need is to find out if one of my ladies is capable of that (i'm sure not)

T K Maxx have lots at the momeent, very posh looking, £2.99 each, hard backed but with soft suede covers in different colours.

Macdog · 30/05/2007 09:55

I got some before in my local Poundland shop

Katymac · 30/05/2007 18:11

Poundland had some today. I think they were brigh metallic colours but may have been smaller than A5.

Katymac · 30/05/2007 19:46
