Do you shop on Yellow Moon (Baker Ross) instead of Baker Ross because of the money going to school because I think you're being ripped off

that buzzing sound shall be the bee in my bonnet

patently the difference may well be marketing /delivery costs but still would probably be easier to give school a cheque for the whole difference

hmm, I think that about cake sales, too.

I mean why shell out £1 or more to get the stuff to bake a cake, then see said cake get sold for 50p. Would rather give £1 to school and eat cake myself.

I reckon the way to go, re cake sale, is to buy a cake and freeze it and recycle it at the next cake sale as your own.

MI

I have never totted up how much cakes cost cos I generally have the stuff in

I find the way to go with cake sales is muffins .. they look big and they must bring in the money .. surely?

Doesn't anyone NOTICE, MI?

I mean, there's no way I wouldn't spot a cake-creation of my own at another sale: no one couldn't replicate my haphazard ways with icing.

Haven't totted up either, Twiglett: just wish they'd bloomin' well sell the things for MORE money!

Twiglett · 26/05/2007 18:16

she doesn't really Porpoise .. she's all big and lairy on here but in RL she'd be in the kitchen baking with her pinny and flour rubbed in her cheek
