Just got a nice Mutsy on ebay, it was too tempting .
I think it's an Urban rider, does anyone have any opinions on it, also am considering the swivel wheels to help with manoeuvrability (sp). Interested to know what people think!

Well I'm sure Mutsy are part of the Babystyle group. I had a Babystyle pram and after 3 things breaking on it I eventually got my money back! Can't comment on the Mutsy but I'm sure it will be okay.

I would def get the swivel wheels, it's a nightmare otherwise! Did you get a bargain?

flightattendant · 18/05/2007 20:03

Oh golly! Thanks for that. Well, yes, it was a bargain, I think...160 with carrycot, raincovers, cosytoes etc..
It's the brown leather handlebars that got me! Mmm...
Apparently it is the Urban Rider so the swivel wheels will fit - only about 20 quid for those.
Just off to look at Babystyle reviews...

I'm sure it will be OK. Enjoy it!!

The urban rider is a lvely buggy but there are a few down sides.
The wheel width is unbelievably wide.
It is still really bulky when folded and takes up loads of boot space.
really high handle so not good if you are under 5 foot 3.

Thanks Tegan, that's helpful stuff. Have you got one?
I've heard it's pretty wide...the website says 65cm, and my Quinny Freestyle is 68, so is the Easylife - that must be why I go in places with the front wheel, only to get stuck with the back!!
Does seem to be a downside, might end up selling it on here if it's too tricky to get round town.
Haven't got a car so that's cool about the folding.
And I'm 5ft7 luckily...so hoping to be Ok.

Hmm the thrill of a new buggy...why is none of them perfect!!!!!??

No I haven't got one but I borrowed one from a friend of mine for a couple of weeks when I was between buggies and until I did that I was set on the idea of getting one myself.
I did pre-rder the mutsy spider but they had manufacturing problems so i cancelled the order and got a zapp instead.
