I mix my spf 15 moisturiser with my foundation, seems to do the trick.

pesme · 14/05/2007 19:40

what moisturiser do you use?

dont know if it has a spf, but the loreal nutrisummer face 12 hr moiturising fluid has a little bit of fake tan in it

looks ok on me anyway, and was 1/3 off in boots last week

pesme · 14/05/2007 19:41

charliecat · 14/05/2007 19:42

So does Olays everyday sunshine, moisturiser with a touch of sunless tanner(spf15)

PinkMartini · 14/05/2007 19:43

You rebel by Benefit. Pricy but really good and lasts aaaaaaaaaages.
Benefit

PanicPants · 14/05/2007 19:43

I've just bought a fab one from Estee Lauder

It's magic - It comes out of the bottle cream coloured and then, as you rub it in, it changes colour to match your skintone.

It is spf15, and once on it doesn't look as if you have any foundation on - just that you have a slightly more tanned face.

brimfull · 14/05/2007 19:43

bobbi brown does a good one

i have 'sensitive' skin (she says looking frail and pained) and tendency to look a little red and patchy so probably need to stick to hardcore slap but might dabble.

OP posts:
pesme · 14/05/2007 19:45

panicpants does that mean it will just turn red on my face?

OP posts:
brimfull · 14/05/2007 19:50

if you have a tendency to go red ,then bobbi brown stuff is great. It has a yellow tinge to make you look less red and more normal.

PanicPants · 14/05/2007 19:58

lol

Hope not!

ScottishThistle · 14/05/2007 20:06

I use clinique's almost make up & love it!

poppy34 · 14/05/2007 20:08

stila is very good -quite light. Or if you just want lighter coverage in summer l'oreal have just brought out a powder foundation (stila also do a version) which is quite nice if you don't want moisturiser on a hot day or to use over moisturiser if you're having a bad skin day,

Tamum · 14/05/2007 20:11

How do you find that L'Oreal powder stuff poppy? I'm not getting on well with it at all, find it hard to blend. I have such a huge collection of moisturisers-I-have-tried-and-found-wanting

poppy34 · 14/05/2007 20:18

I'll be honest after one day looking like joan collins in full slap I've reverted to using it as a powder and gone back to my stila or using a very thin covering of chanel stuff

Seriously I cannot tell you how terrifying I looked when used it as directed - it seems to work best as concealer/face powder used very thinly

Tamum · 14/05/2007 20:20

Oh phew, not just me then- I was playing it down, I too looked completely ghastly, like the scary orange woman on the Fast Show. And not at all like the advert

deuxcheekymonkeys · 14/05/2007 20:37

Benefit - you rebel is ace...as is Lancome tinted face gel...not as heavy...

poppy34 · 14/05/2007 20:43

tamum so it wasn't just me seduced into thinking that somehow I too could look magically like penelope cruz
